On September 7, 2017 Equifax reported a major cybersecurity breach that impacted approximately 143 million consumers.
We are sending notification to affected members as information comes in from Equifax.
The company estimates that the breach happened from mid-May through July 2017 and includes:
- Names
- Social Security numbers
- Birth dates
- Addresses
- Driver’s license numbers
- Credit card numbers
- Certain dispute documents with personal identifying information
Equifax has set up a website https://www.equifaxsecurity2017.com that members can visit to learn more about the breach and actions recommended from the bureau itself.

We take several measures to ensure the security of your private information, including:
- 24/7 Account Monitoring – We actively monitor accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using sophisticated technologies. We will contact you if we detect unusual transactions and suspect fraud.

- Privacy – Review our Privacy Policy to learn how we collect, use and safeguard your personal financial information.

What you can do to protect your personal and account information.
There are many things you can do to proactively monitor and protect your private information, including:
- Regularly review your accounts—as well as your Quorum credit and debit cards—using account notifications and alerts.

- Monitor your credit report—FREE—at annualcreditreport.com, and look for accounts or charges you don’t recognize.
- Monitor your online accounts—as well as your Quorum credit and debit cards—using account notifications and alerts.
- Note: We will not proactively close credit or debit cards unless we receive notification that specific cards have been compromised. If that happens, we will notify all impacted members.
- Consider Mastercard’s free theft protection services if you have a Quorum credit or debit card. Learn more here.
